When you enroll your qualifying building — two to six units with a shared central heating system — in the Duplex-Sixplex Plan from Centerpoint Energy's Home Service Plus® (HSP) you receive:

Coverage under the Duplex-Sixplex Plan applies to specific parts within each covered appliance. Eligible components vary by appliance type and may include items such as heating elements, valves, motors, belts and sensors.

Here’s how the plan works.
If a covered appliance stops working or needs a repair and the item is serviceable under the plan, it may qualify for repair coverage.
Reach us by phone or through your online account to let us know what's happening. We'll help you schedule a service appointment.
We schedule a qualified technician to visit the building and carry out the covered repair. If the appliance cannot be repaired, the technician will let you know your options.
The Duplex-Sixplex Plan covers qualifying shared appliances across your entire building under a single monthly fee.
Covered repairs include most parts and labor at no additional charge. There are no deductibles or trip charges, which can make it easier to manage repair costs across a multi-unit property.
You have 24/7 access to a live representative. When a covered appliance stops working, contact Home Service Plus and we'll schedule a qualified technician to come to the building.
