That's why we invest in initiatives that not only improve our stakeholders' lives today, but also build a strong foundation for tomorrow.
Our giving focuses on ensuring a high quality of life in the communities we serve. CenterPoint Energy recognizes that our success—and the success of our neighbors is linked to the vibrancy of our communities. We seek to strengthen the locations we serve by investing grant funding from the CenterPoint Energy Foundation in two main strategic areas of Community Vitality and Education. Community Vitality focuses on affordable housing, initiatives improving community outdoor spaces, and ensuring our communities are sustainable. Our support of Education focuses on improving literacy rates, expanding access to STEM programs, and workforce development. Within these focus areas, we look for programs that serve under-resourced populations to help entire communities thrive.
