With more than 3,900 miles of transmission lines and nearly 57,000 miles of distribution lines, we deliver electricity to more than 2.4 million customers in a 5,000 square-mile area for 85 retail electric providers.

CenterPoint is a Texas deregulated utility in an Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) deregulated market. Deregulation allows customers to compare rates offered by multiple electric retail providers and select the rate that best suits their electric needs.
