Energy-efficiency programs
Home Energy Squad
This natural gas and electric energy efficiency program is for you, whether you own or rent your home. You start with a free virtual visit (or phone visit), then receive a home visit that meets your needs and may include direct installation of low-cost energy efficiency measures. The home visit is free for low-income customers. (Home Energy Squad is delivered by Center for Energy and Environment (CEE).) To participate: call 651-328-6220

Weatherization
Provides a free home energy assessment to determine ways to improve homeowners’ comfort and energy efficiency. Measures installed at no cost to income-qualified homeowners or renters may include: free attic and wall insulation, sealing of air leaks, plus repair or replacement of natural gas furnace (or boiler) and water heater. Community action partnership information
Rental efficiency
Offers incentives for energy-saving improvements made by owners of one- to four-unit dwellings that house income-eligible renters. This shared-cost model provides a free energy audit and pays 50 percent of the cost for qualifying installed weatherization upgrades and high efficiency equipment replacements. Services are provided through our program partner, Energy Cents Coalition.
