Do I need to be a CenterPoint Energy gas customer to purchase equipment or a repair plan from HSP?

No, anyone in the Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN Metro area may purchase equipment from HSP. If you are a CenterPoint customer, you can have your HSP payments added onto your existing bill for your convenience.

Yes, we offer many different models of high-efficiency home systems that use up to 50% less energy during operation. ​


What warranties does HSP offer on equipment?

Our warranties range from one to 12 years for parts and/or labor. Consult our warranty information page for specific product warranty details. 


Does HSP take the old equipment when I buy a new model?

Yes, we will take your old equipment when delivering your replacement equipment. We do not remove asbestos.

 

How can I save money when buying a new home system?

Are all HSP technicians qualified?

All our sales representatives and technicians are highly qualified and carefully screened before performing professional work in your home. 


How does the HSP process work?

The sales process happens in four steps:

  1. Communication: You reach out to us via phone or online to let us know you need help. 
  2. Consultation: At the agreed-upon time, our sales representative visits your home to assess the situation and advise you on the replacement options for your equipment. 
  3. Installation: Our technician(s) return with the new equipment, install it and take the old equipment with them.
  4. Verification: Before leaving, the technicians verify that the new equipment is working properly.​


How much does an HSP in-home consultation cost?

Our in-home consultations are offered at no cost to you. 


What happens during the free in-home consultation?

Depending on what home system you’re having trouble with, the sales rep may take measurements; assess the best location for your equipment given noise and code considerations; lay out your options for new equipment; and prepare a proposal for a new system.

How does HSP assist with the decision making process?

We provide the sizing, cost, warranty, efficiency and other information for each home system and model that’s appropriate for your home. We walk you through pricing factors and other costs such as city permits. We will provide a professional recommendation but the final choice is yours.


How does the installation process work?

Your installer technician will explain the entire installation process to you when they contact you to arrange your installation appointment. 


Does HSP offer flexible payment options?

We offer qualified customers the ability to finance with zero finance charges for one, three or 24 months. We also offer long-term financing up to 120 months depending on the purchase price. CenterPoint Energy gas customers who select an HSP Repair Plan can have their payments added onto their existing bill for a simplified payment experience. Financing is available with approved credit.


Can HSP also provide maintenance services for my new equipment?
