MINNEAPOLIS – June 11, 2014 – CenterPoint Energy’s Community Partnership Grant Program awards grants to local communities to fund safety-related equipment and projects. The company recently awarded the City of Columbus a $2,500 grant for a Global Positioning System for the City Public Works, Police and Fire Departments to address local repairs, maintenance, and emergencies throughout the city that will be used to serve the community.
