The company's Emergency Operations Center remains activated, with crews quickly addressing outages as they have been occurring.
“As the winds behind Sunday's cold front continue to move through the area, our CenterPoint teams have been actively restoring isolated and localized outages throughout the night. We continue to monitor the strong gusts impacting our service territory and will take additional actions throughout the day," said Jason Fabre, CenterPoint's Incident Commander. “Gusty conditions will continue across the area this morning and may persist across the 12-county Greater Houston region.
