When a home is ENERGY STAR® certified, it has been tested and approved for specific ratings related to insulation, heating & cooling systems, indoor appliances, water conservation, moisture control, overall energy usage, and construction elements. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) sets strict guidelines for energy efficiency, making the ENERGY STAR® rating highly distinguished for optimal performance.
