Crews will be working from 59th Street East to Highway 62 on 13th Ave South. The work will be done on the east bond sidewalk and parking lane from 59th Street East to 61st Street East.
From 61st Street East to Highway 62 the west bound sidewalk and parking lane will be closed off. One sidewalk will remain open at all times.
For a couple months this fall, CenterPoint Energy will replace natural gas infrastructure in Legion Lake South Area. Updates regarding the utility crew's location, traffic impacts and other details will be posted here regularly.
Before construction begins, an authorized contractor will be in the area to locate sewer lines in relation to natural gas lines. This is an important safety measure CenterPoint is required to take. It is possible a technician performing this work will need to access your home to locate sewer lines. Ask to see CenterPoint Energy identification before letting anyone in your home.
