Maldeis won the iPad through a drawing offered by CenterPoint Energy for educators who recently registered on Energy Underground, a natural gas education website sponsored by the company. “It really means a lot to know that people in our community care about teachers,” said Maldeis. “At this time of the year, it really is the thought that counts.”
