Billing Notice: You have likely received your first bill from us. Your previous bill from Markham Gas Corp. covered March usage and was issued in April. As we transition your account to our system, this May bill is arriving later than usual. It includes only the monthly customer charge—no usage fees for April are included.

Your June bill will have the customer charge and usage fees included for May. You can expect to receive this bill sometime in the next 1 to 3 weeks. ​​

On May 1, CenterPoint assumed responsibility for the natural gas service and infrastructure of the Markham, Texas community, previously served by Markham Gas Corp.

Here's what you can expect

A new bill

In June, you can expect to receive your first CenterPoint bill reflecting your natural gas usage during the month of May. This bill will look a little different from what you’re used to – discover the new information on your bill below.

Here’s what you can expect to see on your new bill:

  • A shorter nine-digit account number
  • Amount due and due date at the very top right of your bill
  • Important phone numbers for emergencies and customer service
  • Your bill will also include information about billing and payment options, including Paperless Billing, AutoPay and payment arrangements if you need assistance paying your bill each month
