Earn rebates when you install natural gas fireplaces with electronic ignition in the homes you build.

Getting started

  • Work with the fireplace dealer/retailer of your choice to determine the best natural gas fireplaces in the homes that you build.
  • This rebate offer is only available for MINNESOTA residential heating customers who receive natural gas service from CenterPoint Energy.

Note: For rebate to apply, the new equipment must be listed on the current manufacturer’s website.

After installation

Step 1: Contact your fireplace dealer/retailer

  • Contact the dealer that installed the fireplace(s) to inquire if their company is submitting the rebate on your behalf, on CenterPoint Energy’s dealer-only online rebate form.
  • If your dealer doesn't submit rebates in the dealer-only processing system, then the dealer should generate a paper rebate submission for you.
  • Provide your email address to the dealer if you want to receive system generated emails about the status of your rebate submission.

Step 2: Rebate processing

  • Rebate application must be submitted in the same calendar year that the equipment was installed. See Terms and Conditions for complete information about the rebate deadline.
  • From the time that CenterPoint Energy receives the completed rebate application please allow up to 10 weeks for rebate to be processed.
