Residential and Small Commercial Energy Efficiency Program
CenterPoint Energy’s AC Distributor program provides incentives for air-conditioner distributors who install high-efficiency air conditioners and heat-pumps within our electric service territory.

heat pumps in homes and small commercial businesses within CenterPoint Energy’s electric service territory?

Services Provided
To enter our program, we require you provide the following services:
- Installation of
1.5 ton to 5 ton systems (new construction applications do not qualify)
- Installation of
AHRI-matched systems that meet or exceed guidelines of
16 SEER/12 EER (plus 8.6 HSPF for heat pumps).
If you are a
homeowner or
small business owner, please contact your
local A/C dealer.
CenterPoint Energy Houston Electric does not pay direct incentives to homeowners for this program.
