How the Program Works

  1. Purchase and have installed the best qualifying natural gas fireplace option for your business between Jan. 1 – Dec. 31.

    Online Submission
  2. Have your fireplace dealer or retailer submit an application for your installation (including electronic copy of the dated invoice) through our online rebate processing system.

    Paper Submission
  3. You will receive your rebate faster if your dealer submits the rebate on your behalf through the dealer-only rebate processing system. Your dealer should complete a paper application if they don't submit the rebate application online.
    If your dealer doesn't have a paper application to complete, you can request one via email and follow the mailing instructions.

  4. Receive your rebate check within eight weeks of when we get the completed rebate application.

Note: This rebate offer is only available for Minnesota residential customers who receive natural gas service from CenterPoint Energy. Rebates are paid on a first-come, first-served basis.
