Project Status - St James - Trunk Highway 4
Construction is finished in St. James on Trunk Highway 4.
Crews from CenterPoint Energy have finished construction on Old Highway 4 in Janesville. The installation of the main gas pipeline, services and restoration are finished. Construction began in early May 2016 and was finished in approximately one month.

5/5/2016 UpdateFor the next several weeks, residents and commuters traveling along West 1st Street/US Highway 14 will encounter crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, working between South West Street and Nelson Street N.
Crews will continue to install pipeline along the south side of West 1st Street/US Highway 14, working westwards from Nelson Street N. to just west of Market Street N. through next Thursday, May 12.
A second CenterPoint Energy crew is currently working on service line replacements. If the gas meter is located inside your home or building, we will move it to an outside location.
Please drive with caution in the areas of construction.
Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, started installing pipeline eastwards along the south side of Highway 14 today, Tuesday, April 26.
Crews anticipate reaching Mott Street N. by Friday, April 29, weather permitting.
Beginning early next week, an additional CenterPoint Energy crew will move onsite. This crew will be working on service line replacements and following the first crew eastwards. If the gas meter is located inside your home or building, we will move it to an outside location.
