All infrastructure construction within the scope of this project is complete, as of April 25. Restoration of all areas impacted by the construction will begin in the next few weeks.
For a few months beginning this April, CenterPoint Energy will replace the natural gas infrastructure in Lake Crystal. Updates regarding the utility crew's location, traffic impacts and other details will be posted here regularly.
Before construction begins, an authorized contractor will be in the area to locate sewer lines in relation to natural gas lines. This is an important safety measure CenterPoint is required to take. It is possible a technician performing this work will need to access your home to locate sewer lines. Ask to see CenterPoint Energy identification before letting anyone in your home.
