The crew has been working on 87th Lane NE this week and will continue to do so through the weekend. Beginning Monday, June 1, the service crew will arrive on site.
The service crew will replace and connect service lines to the new sections of gas main in the street. For those with an indoor gas meter, the crew will make an appointment to have the meter relocated to the outside.
For a few months beginning this May, CenterPoint Energy will replace natural gas infrastructure in Blaine. Updates regarding the utility crew's location, traffic impacts and other details will be posted here regularly.
Before construction begins, an authorized contractor will be in the area to locate sewer lines in relation to natural gas lines. This is an important safety measure CenterPoint is required to take. It is possible a technician performing this work will need to access your home to locate sewer lines. Ask to see CenterPoint Energy identification before letting anyone in your home.
