This project is complete!
CenterPoint Energy has completed construction in this area. We thank you for your patience this season!
7/22/2024
A crew from Michels Corporation, a CenterPoint Energy natural gas contractor, finished the natural gas line replacements in CenterPoint’s project in Ventura Village this summer. This included moving inside meters outside and replacing and/or reconnecting service lines to the new mains installed in June.
Residents will see temporary backfill on the excavations. Backfill can include dirt, gravel, or temporary asphalt. A few weeks after the natural gas work is done, a crew from Q3 Contracting, a CenterPoint authorized contractor, will follow to permanently restore the areas affected by Michels Corporation’s work.
The hard surfaces will be restored to their original condition. Boulevards and lawns will receive black dirt, grass seed, and netting that degrades over about four months. We appreciate your patience as we upgraded our infrastructure. Have a great season!
