Overview
Beginning on Wednesday, March 15 and lasting for about four weeks, CenterPoint Energy will work on the north side of 3rd Avenue N. from Washington Avenue N. to 250 3rd Avenue N. The work will be in coordination with Minnesota Department of Transportation. CenterPoint Energy will contract Michels Corporation and Q3 Contracting for the following tasks: replacing a natural gas main, replacing or reconnecting service lines as needed, moving inside meters to the outside of businesses, and restoring the affected boulevards, sidewalks, or road. There will be no assessment or cost associated with our work.
During this time, the sidewalk on the north side of 3rd Avenue N. will remain open with barricades as needed. Traffic will remain open on 3rd Avenue N. with alternating lane closures. The entrance to Traffic Street will remain open.
