​​​​​​​​​Maple Grove/Plymouth - County Road 10 - Project Status​

​12/22/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, finished construction within the scope of the County Road 10 construction project.

Due to the cold weather, crews from Q3, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will hydromulch all soft surface areas for erosion control over the winter and blacktop any needed restoration on the street. Crews will complete temporary restoration through tomorrow, Wednesday, December 23.  In the spring, crews will return onsite to complete final restoration.

We understand that the County Road 10 construction project was an inconvenience to people living, working and commuting in and around the area, so we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we continue to complete all possible restoration in the 2015 construction season.

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will be working extended hours, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., through Thursday, December 17.

Please anticipate the westernmost southbound Northwest Boulevard driving lane to be closed near Bass Lake Road/County Road 10.

Residents and commuters can also anticipate the northernmost westbound Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 driving lane, from Highway 494 to Wedgewood Road, to be closed.

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will continue construction near the intersection of Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 and Northwest Boulevard.

Please anticipate the westernmost southbound Northwest Boulevard driving lane to be closed near Bass Lake Road/County Road 10.

Residents and commuters can also anticipate the northernmost westbound Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 driving lane, from Highway 494 to Wedgewood Road, to be closed. 

Crews will be working Monday, December 14 to Friday, December 18, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.

12/7/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will be working for the remainder of the week near the intersection of Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 and Northwest Boulevard.

Please anticipate the westernmost southbound Northwest Boulevard driving lane to be closed near Bass Lake Road/County Road 10.

Crews will be working from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for at least one week, weather permitting.

11/30/2015 update

Due to the heavy snowfall, crews will not be working along Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 today, Monday November 30.

As soon as weather permits, crews will resume construction near the southwest intersection of Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 and Northwest Boulevard.

Please anticipate the southbound turn lane onto Northwest Boulevard from Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 to be closed.

Crews will be working from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the next one and half to two weeks, weather permitting.

​11/16/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, have completed the majority of construction in Maple Grove.

This week, crews will move across the city border to Plymouth and will continue open trenching natural gas distribution pipe along the south side of Bass Lake Road/County Road 10, between I-494 and Northwest Boulevard.

Please anticipate the southernmost eastbound Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 lane to continue to be closed intermittently in the areas of construction for the next two weeks.

Crews anticipate continuing construction through early December.

10/27/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, continue installing natural gas distribution pipe along Bass Lake Road/County Road 10, between Wedgewood Road N. I-494.

Please anticipate the northernmost westbound Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 lane to be closed in the areas of construction through the end of the week. Restoration will follow early next week.

Please anticipate the southernmost eastbound Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 lane to continue to be closed in the areas of construction for the next two weeks.

10/16/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, are currently installing natural gas distribution pipe at scattered locations along Bass Lake Road/County Road 10, between Wedgewood Road N. and Northwest Boulevard.

Crews are currently installing natural gas distribution pipe from Wedgewood Road N. to just west of I-494.

Please anticipate the westbound Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 turn lane to northbound Wedgewood Road N. to be shifted.

Please anticipate lane shifts along eastbound Bass Lake Road/County Road 10 beginning mid to late next week.

Construction is anticipated to continue for the next three weeks, weather permitting.
