Project Status - Lakeville Reconstruction

6/4/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, finished construction within the scope of the Lakeville Reconstruction project. Restoration will follow.

We understand that the Lakeville Reconstruction project was an inconvenience to people living and working in and around the area, so we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to complete restoration as safely and quickly as possible.

5/22/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will finish installing natural gas distribution pipe within the scope of the Lakeville Reconstruction project by the first weekend of June.

Crews are currently replacing service lines along Harmony Path, from north of Grinnell Avenue to 160th Street W. until next week.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy will continue to contact residents whose gas service may be affected to schedule the necessary construction work on their property.

5/15/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will begin installing natural gas distribution pipe along Grove Trail, from Griffon Trail to 160th Street W. on Monday, May 18th.

Service line replacements along Harmony Path, south of Grinnell Avenue, will be complete by tomorrow. Crews will then replace service lines along Harmony Path, from north of Grinnell Avenue to 160th Street W. next week.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy will continue to contact residents whose gas service may be affected to schedule the necessary construction work on their property.

5/5/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will continue installing natural gas distribution pipe in the following locations until the end of next week, weather permitting:

  • 168th Street W., from Highview Avenue to 166th Street W.
  • Hamilton Drive, from 169th Street W. to 166th Street W.
  • 166th Street W. between Harwell Drive
  • A small portion Havelock Way

Service line replacements along Upper 167th Street W., Grenadier Avenue and Greenland Path are now complete. Crews are currently replacing service lines along Glenwood Avenue and Glencoe Avenue. Construction along these streets will continue until the end of next week, weather permitting.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy will continue to contact residents whose gas service may be affected to schedule the necessary construction work on their property.

  • Hamilton Drive, from 169th Street W. to 166th Street W.
  • 169th Street W.

Service line replacements will continue along Upper 167th Street W. until Thursday, April 30th.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy wil contact residents whose gas service may be affected to schedule the necessary construction work on their property.

No lane closures are expected, but please drive with caution in the areas of construction.

  • Upper 167th Street W., from Grenadier Avenue to Cedar Avenue.
  • Grenadier Avenue, from Upper 167th Street W. to 170th Street W.
  • Glenwood Avenue, from Upper 167th Street W. to 170th Street W.

No lane closures are expected, but please drive with caution in the areas of construction. In the coming weeks, construction will begin between 170th Street W. to Upper 167th Street W. along Greenland Path and Glencoe Avenue.

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will begin installing natural gas distribution pipe in Lakeville on Monday, March 30th.

Crews will begin construction along Grenadier Avenue, from 170th Street W. to Upper 167th Street W. Crews will also begin construction along Upper 167th Street W., from Grenadier Avenue to Cedar Avenue.
