On Monday, August 22, the crews from CenterPoint Energy started their work on the steel transmission line that runs from W. 165th Street to W. 166th Street. That work should be finished within the week of August 22.
No roads will be affected by this work. There will be no lane closures.
The crews will restore the area with black dirt and grass seed. As the seed grows, it will be held in place by biodegradable netting, which breaks apart and is environmentally friendly.
