​​​​​Project Status -Edina - Golf Terrace Neighborhood​

​5/9/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, completed installing pipeline within the scope of the Golf Terrace neighborhood construction project.

The remaining CenterPoint Energy crew onsite is currently replacing natural gas service lines along 56th Street W.

After service line replacements are complete along 56th Street W., crews will move to Lakeview Drive and Gold Terrace. Crews anticipate working on service line replacements for approximately one more month.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy will continue to contact residents whose gas service may be affected to schedule the necessary construction work on their property. If the gas meter is located inside your home or building, we will move it to an outside location. Thank you.


​4/25/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, are currently installing pipeline westwards along the south side of Golf Terrace, from Wooddale Avenue to Lakeview Drive.

By the end of the week, crews will move to Concord Avenue and install pipeline along the west side of the road from Lexington Avenue to Lakeview Drive.

The second CenterPoint Energy crew onsite will continue replacing service line along Tower Street, West 56th Street and Concord Avenue for the next three weeks, weather permitting.​ Thank you.


4/15/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will return to the Golf Terrace Neighborhood on Monday, April 18 to continue installing natural gas pipeline.

This crew will begin installing pipeline along the south side of Oak Drive, between Wooddale Avenue and Concord Avenue. Crews will then jump to the south side of Lexington Avenue and work their way along the west side of Concord Avenue.

Crews anticipate installing pipeline along the south side of Lakeview Drive, between Cocord Avenue and Lakeview Drive. The following week crews will be at Golf Terrace. 

The second CenterPoint Energy crew onsite is continuing service line replacements along Fairfax Avenue and Woodland Road. 

Crews will then begin working near Concord Avenue and 56th Street W. As a reminder, crews complete approximately five to seven service lines per day, weather permitting. Thank you. 

​4/4/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, temporarily completed installing natural gas pipeline within the Golf Terrace Neighborhood.

Crews anticipate returning onsite to continue pipeline installation during the week of April 11.

The crew currently onsite is almost finished replacing all service lines for homes located along Concord Terrace.

Crews will then begin working along Fairfax Avenue and Woodland Road, respectively. As a reminder, crews complete approximately five to seven service lines per day, weather permitting.

3/24/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will return to the Golf Terrace Neighborhood of Edina on Monday, March 28 to finish service line replacements and installation of natural gas pipeline.

Residents can anticipate representatives from CenterPoint Energy to begin working on service line replacements along Concord Terrace beginning Monday. Crews will then jump to Fairfax Avenue and Woodland Road. CenterPoint Energy will be working along these streets for the next two weeks prior to the City of Edina’s reconstruction project.

A second crew will be installing pipeline northwards along the west side of St. Johns Avenue, between 56th Street W. and Oak Drive. Crews will then install pipeline along the north side 56th Street W. for the remainder of the week.

​12/10/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, finished installing natural gas distribution pipe within the Golf Terrace Neighborhood.

Please note: crews will return onsite in the spring to replace approximately 76 natural gas service lines in preparation for the City of Edina's roadway reconstruction project. If the gas meter is located inside your home or building, we will move it to an outside location.

Full restoration will occur in the spring of 2016.

11/30/2015 Update​

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, continue installing natural gas distribution pipe within the Golf Terrace Neighborhood of Edina.

Tomorrow, Tuesday, December 1, crews will begin installing natural gas distribution pipe eastwards along the south side of Woodland Road, from Concord Avenue to Wooddale Avenue. Please be aware this start date may move to the following day depending on the amount of snowfall.

Crews will then install natural gas distribution pipe along Fairfax Avenue and Concord Terrace.

Please note: crews will return onsite in the spring to replace service lines in preparation for the City of Edina's roadway reconstruction project. If the gas meter is located inside your home or building, we will move it to an outside location.

Crews anticipate working in the Golf Terrace Neighborhood through early next week.

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will begin installing natural gas distribution pipe within the Golf Terrace Neighborhood today, Monday, November 23.

rews will begin installing natural gas distribution pipe southwards along the west side of Concord Avenue, just south of Lexington. Crews will then install a short section of pipeline along the south sides of 56th Street W. and Tower Street.

Crews anticipate installing natural gas distribution pipe along the south side of Woodlan
