​5/10/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, have completed installing pipeline and replacing service lines within the Palmer Lake West neighborhood of Brooklyn Center.

Residents can anticipate restoration to begin as soon as possible, weather permitting.

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will finish service line replacements within the Palmer Lake West neighborhood of Brooklyn Center on Friday, May 6.

Residents can anticipate restoration to begin the following week, weather permitting. Thank you​.

​​4/25/2016 Update 

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, finished service line replacements along Ewing Avenue N., Urban Avenue N., Drew Avenue N. and Palmer Lake Drive W.

This week, residents can anticipate two crews working on service line replacements.

Crews will be working at scattered locations along Woodbine Lane N., 72nd Avenue N. and Violet Avenue N. through early may.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy will continue to contact residents whose gas service may be affected to schedule the necessary construction work on their property. If the gas meter is located inside your home or building, we will move it to an outside location. Thank you.  ​


​4/12/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will finish installing natural gas pipeline within the scope of the Palmer Lake West neighborhood construction project today, Tuesday, April 12.

Residents can anticipate the crew onsite to continue service line replacements for homes located along Ewing Avenue N. and Urban Avenue N. through next Tuesday, April 19.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy will continue to contact residents whose gas service may be affected to schedule the necessary construction work on their property. If the gas meter is located inside your home or building, we will move it to an outside location.

​4/1/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, completed installing pipeline along Ewing Avenue N., Drew Avenue N. and Urban Avenue N. this past week.

Traffic traveling northbound on France Avenue N. can anticipate a lane shift near Ewing Avenue N. for the remainder of today.

On Monday, April 4, crews will begin installing pipeline northwards along the west side of Palmer Lake Drive W. Crews will be working along this street for three to four days. Please use caution in this area as large equipment will be onsite.

Residents can also anticipate a second crew starting on Monday, April 4 along Ewing Avenue N. This crew will be replacing service lines and working on each side of Ewing Avenue N. Please anticipate crews to complete five to seven service lines per day.

Representatives from CenterPoint Energy will contact residents whose gas service may be affected to schedule the necessary construction work on their property. If the gas meter is located inside your home or building, we will move it to an outside location.

​3/27/2016 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, will begin installing pipeline along the west side of Ewing Avenue N. tomorrow, Monday, March 28.

Crews will then begin installation of pipeline along the west side Drew Avenue N. and the south side of Urban Avenue N.

Crews anticipate working on each street for approximately one to two days and will be working on the above streets for the remainder of the week.
