8/12/2015 Update

Crews from Q3, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, have finished restoration along Old Shakopee Road.
 
We understand that Old Shakopee Road construction project was an inconvenience to people living and commuting in and around the area, so we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we worked to complete restoration as safely and quickly as possible.

7/23/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, continue open trenching across Old Shakopee Road at Morris Avenue S.

Tomorrow, crews will reopen the north side of Old Shakopee Road and close the south side of Old Shakopee Road to continue trenching.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at this intersection.

Crews anticipate installing natural gas distribution pipe until Friday, August 31. Service line replacements will follow.

Please anticipate lane shifts and drive with caution in the areas of construction.

7/14/2015 Update

Crews from Michels Corporation, an authorized CenterPoint Energy contractor, have started installing natural gas distribution pipe along the north side of Old Shakopee Road, between Morris Avenue S. and just east of Irwin Avenue S.

he north lane of Old Shakopee Road is closed in this area, but traffic will be maintained in both directions.

Beginning next week, crews will open trench across Old Shakopee Road at Morris Avenue S. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction at this intersection.

Crews anticipate installing natural gas distribution pipe until Friday, August 31. Service line replacements will follow.
