CenterPoint works with several sub-contractors to complete infrastructure projects in a safe, timely manner while adhering to all regulations. There are times when these contractors will need access to resident's properties to perform important work. A summary of CenterPoint Energy's authorized contractors and their identifying features is below.

All authorized contractors will have CenterPoint Energy identification cards. You are encouraged to ask to see identification before allowing technicians inside your home.


Equix Integrity

Equix is a contractor that CenterPoint Energy uses before construction begins to locate sewer lines within the construction zone. Q3 Contracting or PSC Primoris

Q3 is a sub-contractor of CenterPoint Energy that performs various work throughout the construction process. Q3 may be present for a range of steps throughout a project. Employees from Q3 contracting may arrive to a site before construction begins to perform the important safety task of locating sewers. They are also likely to be seen at the end of a project, restoring the streets, sidewalks, lawns, and boulevards that have been impacted by the natural gas infrastructure work.


This contractor will often be referred to as Q3, however their vehicles are typically marked with "PSC Primoris".


Michels Corporation

Michels performs various construction work on the behalf of CenterPoint Energy. Crews from Michels may be seen installing natural gas mains and service lines, replacing gas meters or moving them outside, locating underground facilities, and more.


Storti Quality Services

Storti is a contracting company used by CenterPoint Energy to perform meter relocations. You may be contacted by Storti to schedule an appointment to have your natural gas meter moved from inside your property to the outside.

NPL

NPL may have crews doing a variety of work throughout the process of gas line upgrades. Their crews can be seen performing meter moves and replacements, and may be in the area before a project begins to locate sewer laterals.
