Lynnae K. Wilson

Chief Business Officer, Indiana Electric Utility Business

Lynnae WilsonLynnae is chief business officer of Indiana Electric Utility Business for CenterPoint Energy. She is responsible for power generation operations and construction, electric transmission and distribution operations, electric engineering and oversees Midwest Independent System Operator (MISO) engagement which includes wholesale power marketing. In this role, Lynnae is also responsible for key account management and integrated resource planning, which determines the company’s future electric generation portfolio.

Wilson has more than 15 years of experience in combined natural gas and electric utilities and electric generation with Vectren Corporation in addition to experience in the manufacturing and mining industries. Most recently, Lynnae was vice president of Energy Delivery for Vectren Utilities Holding, Inc. headquartered in Evansville, Indiana. She led a team of 850 employees throughout Indiana and Ohio responsible for electric and gas field operations, gas storage, electric and gas engineering and electric and gas system operations.

Lynnae currently serves on the ReliabilityFirst board of directors, Edison Electric Institute Reliability Executive Advisory Committee and the Indiana Energy Association Executive Committee. She is a board member and former board president and vice president for Mental Health America of Vanderburgh County, Indiana. In 2015, she was recognized by the Evansville Business Journal as one of their, “20 under 40” leaders for her professional and community contributions.

Lynnae is a graduate of Missouri University of Science and Technology, where she earned her bachelor’s degree in mining engineering.
