NEW! High-efficiency heating system rebates
CenterPoint Energy's high-efficiency heating system rebates program provides rebates up to $300 when you replace your inefficient heating system with a high-efficiency system. Lower your energy bills, save money today, and for years to come.
You may also qualify for a federal tax credit up to $1500 when your purchase a qualifying energy-efficient heating system in 2010.

AFUE-Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency.
*Rebate applies only to new natural gas furnaces used as a back-up system for new construction or natural gas retrofits - not for electric heating retrofit to natural gas.
Note: Efficiency will be determined by using the Air-Conditioning, Heating and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) rating system.
How the program works
1. Work with the heating dealer of your choice to determine the best system for your home. Buy and install a qualifying heating system in your home during 2010.
2. Complete a rebate application for heating system or back-up heating system. Simply type your information in the interactive fields and then print your completed form.
3. Have your dealer sign the application form(s).
4. Attach a copy of your dated sales invoice that shows the equipment purchased.
5. Mail us the completed application, including required signatures, along with your dated sales invoice within 90 days of installation or postmarked by December 31, 2010, whichever comes first.

6. We'll mail your rebate check within four to six weeks of receiving your completed rebate application.

Please note: The rebate offers are only available for Arkansas residential customers who receive natural gas service from CenterPoint Energy. Rebate funds are limited and will be paid on a first-come, first-served basis.
