CenterPoint Energy Services customers can pay their invoice online or by calling EDS at 866-578-7617. For a fee, EDS*Pay^SM allows you to pay your CenterPoint Energy invoice by either credit card or electronic funds transfer. The process is fast, simple and secure and your payment will post to your account within one business day. EDS charges a fee for this service, which will appear on your credit card or bank statement. CenterPoint Energy does not receive any portion of the EDS fee.

Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT)
EFT payments are withdrawn from your bank account and are subject to a service fee of $2.50 per payment.  The maximum amount per payment is $999,999.99.  You will need your bank account number and bank routing number to process a payment.

Credit/Debit Card Payments
We accept Discover, MasterCard and Visa with a maximum payment amount of $10,000.00 per transaction, though there is no limit on the number of payments you may make. Each payment incurs a $60.00 convenience charge which will show on your statement as EDS*Pay^SM.

Customers with Minnesota facilities: Please note that, in compliance with Minnesota statutes, individual credit/debit card payment amounts for Minnesota facilities must exceed $1,200.00.
