Valued at more than $1,200, the Analysis is available to customers for a co-payment of just $200 per facility. Once we’ve helped you find ways to save, simply implement at least one qualifying energy improvement within 12 months of your analysis and we’ll fully reimburse your co-payment. A Custom Energy Analysis will more than pay for itself! To qualify, an improvement must be eligible for a CenterPoint Energy Rebate.
What happens at a Custom Energy Analysis?
CenterPoint Energy will select a state-certified energy auditor to conduct an energy analysis of your facility. The auditor will:

2. Work with you to identify specific issues and needs. |

3. Thoroughly inspect your facility, from the building envelope, insulation and installed natural gas equipment, to how you currently operate this equipment. |

CenterPoint Energy’s rebate programs offer a number of ways to help you lower the up-front costs of installing new or replacing aging equipment with high efficiency natural gas models. And, remember – we’ll reimburse your Custom Energy Analysis co-payment when you implement at least one energy improvement that qualifies for a CenterPoint Energy rebate within 12 months of your analysis.
Rebates are available for the following equipment:
Boilers – new or retrofitted boiler equipment
Boiler tune-ups – a professional tune-up to enhance performance and efficiency – boilers are eligible every two years
Other heating systems – new and retrofit furnaces, unit heaters, duct furnaces and infrared heaters
Other heating system improvements – Burners, steam traps, boiler reset controls, boiler cut-out controls and vent dampers
Water heaters – high-efficiency commercial natural gas water heaters
Carbon monoxide controls – sensors for indoor heated parking garages
Foodservice equipment – 13 types of high-efficiency natural gas foodservice equipment
Low flow showerhead and faucet aerators – higher efficiency retrofits that save energy and water
