What happens at a Custom Energy Analysis?
CenterPoint Energy will select a state-certified energy auditor to conduct an energy analysis of your facility. The auditor will:
 | 1. Analyze your facility’s recent natural gas use (excluding process load). |
| 2. Work with you to identify specific issues and needs. |
 | 3. Thoroughly inspect your facility, from the building envelope, insulation and installed natural gas equipment, to how you currently operate this equipment. |
 | 4. Provide a detailed written report with specific energy-saving recommendations, including:

CenterPoint Energy’s rebate programs offer a number of ways to help you lower the up-front costs of installing new or replacing aging equipment with high efficiency natural gas models.
Rebates are available for the following equipment:
Boilers – hot water, low-and high - pressure steam boilers
Boiler tune-ups – a professional tune-up to enhance performance and efficiency – boilers are eligible every other year.
Other heating systems – forced air, unit heaters, and infrared heaters
Boiler system components – Burners, steam traps, boiler reset controls, boiler cut-out controls and vent dampers
Water heaters – high-efficiency commercial natural gas water heaters
Foodservice equipment – 14 types of high-efficiency natural gas foodservice equipment
