CenterPoint Energy’s Power-Ready Program is an initiative by the Economic Development Department in collaboration with regional commercial and industrial real estate brokers. The aim of this joint effort is to facilitate site selection by leveraging our company’s database of power-ready sites to help promote viable commercial and industrial properties in the Houston area. Stephanie Wiggins, who manages the program, works closely with the real estate community to identify properties that meet criteria important to commercial and industrial interests. Making this intelligence easily accessible to expanding or relocating companies reduces the time for site selection and, possibly, development — which may in turn lower project costs.
