We sell and deliver natural gas to 3.2 million residential and business customers in six states: Arkansas, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Oklahoma and Texas.

Energy Marketing
CenterPoint Energy Services sells natural gas and related services to commercial, industrial and wholesale customers with a focus on the eastern half of the United States.

Electricity
We deliver electricity to over 2 million customers in a 5,000 square-mile service area around greater Houston.

Pipelines
We own and operate two interstate natural gas pipelines in the mid-continent U.S. that together have 8,100 miles of pipe and moved 1.2 trillion cubic feet of gas in 2007.

Field Services
Our field services unit operates 3,500 miles of gathering pipeline and handled 398 billion cubic feet of gas in 2007. Our pipeline services unit designs, constructs and maintains pipelines.
