Current Position: Senior Vice President of Strategic Planning & Business Development

Previous Positions: Before joining CenterPoint Energy, Dumler was the managing partner of Carney-Dumler Partners Investment Group, was a Sr. Managing Director at Republic Financial Corporation, a $225 million private equity and specialty finance company.  His prior positions include Chief Financial Officer for Broe Companies and Omnitrax Railroad; and executive positions with Koch Industries, Inc. and Purina Mills, Inc.

Education and Accreditation: Dumler received his bachelor of arts degree in Chemistry from Colorado College. He also holds a chemical engineering degree from Washington University and is an honors graduate of the Duke University MBA program. He has a series-3 certification from the National Futures Association and has completed training in Leadership & Coaching, Sarbox Compliance, Risk Management and more.

Affiliations and Honors: Dumler is a member of the Association for Corporate Growth, National Association of Corporate Directors and the Turnaround Management Association.

Personal: He is married and has two children.
