CenterPoint Energy Telecom Delivery Services is your source for dark fiber leasing, new fiber construction and bandwidth leasing. CenterPoint Energy currently has multiple fiber optic network loops in the Houston area.
We have built 270 miles of fiber — 90 percent buried in our electric transmission rights-of-way. We have over 3,600 miles of rights-of-way and 900,000 distribution poles available for fiber installation.
Bandwidth leasing services include T-1 to OC-192 capabilities. Project management activities include:
- Evaluation of routes
- Land rights, fee, easement and permitting
- Design and installation
- Material storage and delivery
- Maintenance, support and repair
