Mississippi employees serve soup to benefit hungry

SOUPer BowlCNP employees in Mississippi helped the local branch of The Salvation Army “tackle” hunger on Super Bowl Sunday with the “SOUPer Bowl,” a fundraiser to help feed the hungry in the Jackson, Miss., area.

Local restaurants competed for the “Best Soup of Jackson” trophy, as patrons enjoyed unlimited bowls of delicious soups. CenterPoint Energy employees volunteered their time to help set up, clean up and work at the silent auction.
