CNP uses Web to encourage blood donations

Give Blood CNP employees proudly and selflessly gave more than 4,000 units of blood in 2009, and the company is encouraging customers to join in its charitable efforts in 2010.

In the January edition of TouchPoint, a newsletter sent to residential natural gas customers, CNP pointed customers to a newly created Web page: Now, customers can locate blood centers in their communities or find a nearby blood drive online. CNP plans to continue helping save lives by encouraging the generous blood donations of both employees and customers in 2010.
