Robert Holloway, risk management insurance coordinator, Corporate Services, has been a March of Dimes (MOD) volunteer for the last two decades, donating an average of 115 hours of his time each year. Holloway recently received a 20-Year Volunteer Award from MOD Texas for his dedication.
“The company has had a long-term relationship with the March Dimes, which is how I first got involved back in 1989,” said Holloway. “I’ve enjoyed it so much that I didn’t even realize it had been 20 years until they contacted me about the award.”
From 1989 - 1993, he coordinated the Matagorda County (Texas) March of Dimes Walk, and from 1994 to the present, he has served on the Harris County (Texas) Logistics Committee for Rice University and the University of Houston. His responsibilities include organizing parking locations, team placements, coordinating catered deliveries and equipment and training new MOD directors.
