Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities has a strong supporter with Big Love & Soul - a recruiting project spearheaded by Bonnie Creason, art director in Minnesota, pictured right with her Little Sister Tynice. While participating in a leadership program, Creason has taken on a project that she would like to see “change the world.”
“I‟ve assembled an amazing team of „Bigs‟ and have been working on it all summer,” said Creason. “The objective is to bring 100 new mentors to Big Brothers Big Sisters via networking with other Bigs and their communities.” She has also earned her CNP GIVE Grant check for the past four years, annually contributing more than 40 personal hours of volunteer work to the organization.
Linda Robinson, the mother of Creason‟s Little Sister, said “Bonnie is great and works really well with Tynice in every way. She has introduced Tynice to a healthy lifestyle that includes physical activity and better eating habits. We really enjoy having Bonnie in Tynice‟s life!” Big Brothers Big Sisters‟ mission nationwide is to support children by building relationships as mentors that have a measurable impact on youth.
