Arkansas team racks up top pledges for hospital

Arkansas team racks up top pledges for hospitalIt took a combination of three corporate teams to come close to the $5,255 in pledges that CenterPoint Energy’s team collected for the Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

Volunteers George Stone, Karen Murph, Debbie Jackson, and Gerald Loftis teamed up during the hospital’s Annual Phone-A-Thon to call previous donors and solicit new pledges, benefiting the hospital’s Injury Prevention Center.

Stone was the night’s top caller, and the CNP team was recognized as the top fundraising team. Heather Winston, the hospital’s development officer said, “Thanks to all of your help, we raised a total of $18,922. That is a wonderful start. We couldn’t have done this without you!”
