Mississippi Blood Services (MBS), which supplies blood and blood products to more than 190,000 Mississippians each year, recently recognized CNP for its support and contributions. Pictured from the left are Shelia Allen, MBS manufacturing and distribution vice president; Tina Lakey, district director; and Dale Drive, MBS manufacturing and distribution technical director.
CNP donated $500 to MBS to help defray the cost of a new hematology analyzer, which will make it possible to process donor blood faster to meet the daily needs of hospitals and prepare for a disaster. MBS serves the University of Mississippi Medical Center, all hospitals in Rankin, Madison and Hines and 47 other hospitals statewide. MBS also benefits from CNP’s blood drives which are held every two or three months in Pearl and Ridgeland, Miss.
