Boy Scouts replace worn flag at Lawton office

On Oct. 9, 2008, Boy Scout Troop 176 was invited to the CenterPoint Energy Operation Center in Lawton, Okla., to conduct a flag replacement ceremony for the facility’s worn flag. The scout troop performed the ceremony, and employees gathered at the flagpole.

Employee Kista Taylor’s son, Morgan, salutes the flag as he observes from the front row, far right. “This was a great example of one of the benefits that our United Way dollars provide to agencies such as the Boy Scouts of America, which greatly benefits our youth,” said Taylor.
