As part of CenterPoint Energy‟s continued commitment to education, the Fleet Services department donated two diesel trucks to Houston Community College (HCC) to be used as learning tools in HCC‟s Automotive Technology Training Center. They will also aid students preparing to test for their Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification. The donation comes as part of a partnership between CenterPoint Energy and HCC that aims to keep both organizations up to date on the latest in automotive technology. Carl Clark, Automotive Associate Department chair for Houston Community College (right), remarked, "The entire community has something to gain from this partnership. It is a benefit to everyone."
Edward Sparks, CenterPoint Energy fleet manager (left), helped with the truck presentation.
