Mississippi communities celebrate National Night Out

National Night Out Employees in several CNP locations took time to meet neighbors and share natural gas safety tips during National Night Out on Aug. 4. This event promotes safety and strengthens neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships.

  • Employees from Pearl, Miss., joined community leaders and residents to host a local event.
  • Scott Doyle, division vice president of Gas Operations in Mississippi and Louisiana, helped support event efforts in his region. “Not only does this give us an opportunity to be recognized in our community as a business partner, but it also shows our dedication to safety in our communities and to each other,” said Doyle. “This event would not have been possible without our employees‟ support and dedication.”
  • Steve Kiraly, area manager, hosted the first-ever business event in Oxford, Miss.
  • Charlie Williams, area manager of the Laurel office, hosted events for neighbors where business leaders and residential communities united to discuss safety in their community. Ridgeland office employees enthusiastically joined in the night‟s safety activities to make this truly a regional event.
