The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) awarded CenterPoint Energy employees in Mississippi the Bronze Award for raising between $1000 and $2500 toward research to help find a cure for diabetes and its complications.

The awards dinner was held in the Forestry Auditorium at the Mississippi Agriculture and Forestry Museum in Jackson, Miss.  “This shows what a difference we can make working together,” said Mary Benson, secretary. She encouraged her team to go for the Silver Award this year.
