The Advanced Lighting program is a point of purchase rebate given to customers at participating retail stores for the purchase of various energy efficient lighting. In 2012, only LEDs will qualify for rebates.

Services Provided

The Advanced Lighting Program is a point of sale process. The rebate is applied at the register when the customer purchases an eligible bulb. The rebate is automatically applied to the purchase price, so the customer gets the discounted price, and no direct funds are paid to the customer. CenterPoint Energy pays the rebated amounts directly to the manufacturer and not to the customer.
