CenterPoint Energy partners with energy efficiency service providers and local agencies to support residents in saving energy and money. These residential energy efficiency programs are geared to assist residents in making energy efficient upgrades that reduce energy consumption, save money, and benefit the environment.

Current program offerings include:

A/C Distributor Program
Provides incentives to air conditioning distributors and/or dealers who install high-efficiency air conditioners and heat pumps in existing residencies and small businesses.

Advanced Lighting Program - Residential
Promotes the installation of advanced, high efficiency lighting systems.

Agencies in Action Program
A program which utilizes area community action agencies and non-profit organizations to deliver energy efficiency services to low-income customers.

Energy Star New Homes Program
A program that provides incentives and training to homebuilders to encourage the construction of ENERGY STAR labeled homes.

Hard To Reach Standard Offer Program
A low-income program which provides a variety of energy efficiency upgrades to homeowners with income levels at or below 200 percent of the federal poverty guideline.

Home Performance with ENERGY STAR Program
A program that provides a comprehensive, whole-house approach to improving energy efficiency and comfort in your home.

Residential and Small Commercial Standard Offer Program
Provides incentives to 3rd party contractors for energy efficiency retrofit projects in residences and small businesses.
