Volume Analyst

On a typical day, this employee nominates schedules and monitors gas transportation, purchases, sales and storage on pipeline systems to minimize transportation costs. They administer all on-system transportation and allocate gas related costs to appropriate jurisdictions and customer classes.

No two days are the same in this challenging position. This employee provides analytical support to CenterPoint Energy's wholesale and retail gas marketing group by interfacing with natural gas traders and originators to provide robust deal analysis and analytical support for strategic asset acquisitions. They also perform fundamental natural gas market analysis.
