Several customers have written to CenterPoint Energy to acknowledge an article published in the Touchpoint newsletter inserted in residential natural gas customers' bills. The article related how employees used their equipment to help rescue a baby owl.
One note read, "I just wanted with my family to say 'thank you so much' for caring about what God has created and also thank you for taking the time to share this wonderful, sweet news with us." Another note, from a 12 year-old girl thanked "people like you for getting involved in helping animals." A third customer wrote, "Bravo! Nice to see that a big corporation would take the time to help nature do its thing. How grand of Centerpoint. Keep up the good work!"
